love song for God my creator

In my darker moments

it times of anxiety and despair

In my loneliness

exhausted anguish

My God remembers me

if He does with the birds

that land in the trees

So He does

He does with me

In the nights that get to quiet

when my soul cries for steadiness

unknown

My spirit reaches

the deep to the deep

Trust me

with your time

your gifts

your loves

your hopes dreams or just wish

the authorities

and darkness of this world

can never hold my kind of free

I sit in the hands of my creator

who has never forgotten me

The angers stirring their own kinds of war

shall not phase me

I take no part in Babylons whore

For I know who has made me

what He’s given me

and how He’s saved me

The chess pieces playing their turns

beckon for my hand

both sides revealing in part

while each player hides their own monsters

all players darkened in their hearts

shells of people

inhabited by what they’ve sold out for

Redefining their own creations

and natural rules about life

calling love and tolerance

what I call confusions and strife

distracting with talks about self made stars

and feelings and pseudo realities

Like I should be impressed..

But I’m a woman

human created by God
and

I’m no part of the game anymore

Resettling ,breathing in

My peace

My free

I trust my creator

with me

“do not fear what they fear, nor be in dread.”-Isaiah 8:12

Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near.Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.”-Phillipians 4:5-9

Celebrate

Remembering the fire

Carrying it in my heart

long a song I wrote

and my baby sang with me

praying in my soul

getting some clarity

out of all that condensed time

that now stretches out like an accordion

breathing and out

hey man I know you

I’ve got you here close to me

said I would stay
stay till you wanted me to leave

I guess you never did
or you never did say

but how selfish of me
to want to keep you

in that safe and tired space

so now I breathe in the fire
and the words and the times and frames

keeping them in their remembered place

hey man I know you

you saw me through any pretense
and heard things no one else could

so I let that coyote run

let that butterfly fly away

let that star rise

those transitions that put tears on my face
and for once it’s okay

how could I try to keep

what has outgrown the frame

you and me

transitions must transist

and it’s all good

it is just what it is

so the moon is out after the sky has cried

and I hold my coyote’s butterfly

to my side

and smile for once

on the outside

celebrate my love

celebrating life

coyote

Babylon

He told me to disconnect

to go find my peace of mind

Don’t you know its not real anyway

both sides playing propaganda

life goes on it goes on everyday

Here we are trying to live in relation to God
but in a system built on a fallen angel
and why worry about how Babylon does things
the confusions in a distorted lens
getting tangled in all those strings

Maybe we weren’t created to run like this

on the constant social updates on angers
breathing and repeating

the opinions of strangers

and maybe we weren’t created to breathe like this

the toxicity of chatroom debates

and trolls pushing buttons

so much mental whiplash no one can think

but everyone oh everyone needs

to believe

we are the worst

the worst of the earth

and if you cant see it here is another placard

to fuel your confusion

confusion

and so he said

baby don’t you know this isn’t ours to carry

we’re trying to live of God

in a system built on a fallen angel

the author of discord

and it’s not in anyone’s destiny

to destroy the world
that’s a lot of propaganda

for money and ratings and control

cut it off

and go back to the truth you know

get in your prayer room
and find your peace

write your songs
and plant your seeds

because we are trying to love God

in a system that distorted His name

and since when are we to worry

about how Babylon does things

Peace of Mind

When I was wondering in some jungle of my musings

and how am I gonna how am I gonna

navigate this thing
seeing as all the converging on their verge

hearing the past and seeing the future
but living the present in their gnashing of teeth

trying to think and make them understand in their hatred of my belief

and I just whispered
I just whispered in my spirit

oh God
Oh God
See it isn’t dogma

nor institutions

or pride and corruptions

of the afraid and of the vain

Oh God

Oh God

and His name

and I rest and I have peace

and I’m alive and none can take it from me
and my center in the center of the storm

where I’m covered and known

Oh God
Oh God

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 26:3

Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come. And know that the peace of God (a peace that is beyond any and all of our human understanding) will stand watch over your hearts and minds in Jesus Phillipians 4:6-7

And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds in the sky and all the creatures that move along the ground–everything that has the breath of life in it–I give every green plant for food.”Genesis 1:30

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. (Romans 1:20)

The Last

The Last Christian in America

I took a trip across the land of the free

in it’s last days
I wanted to find something to remember
and be grateful to have been here
where we were so blessed

yet forgot to be thankful

I took a trip across to the land
to meet some people who could tell me
what my entertainers wouldn’t

when they were speaking for progress

and how we could do better
I went to find the immigrants
who risked their lives for something better
I went to find the worshippers

who couldn’t have Bibles in China

I looked for the Jews whose children escaped
I met the Amish on their land
I met the natives who we owe more than life

Now we have more in common don’t we
than we ever knew we did

and maybe we can understand now

in languages undefined
that we have all come from the earth
and dust to dust we return
I close my eyes and pray we have learned
we have understood and we have grown

but across the land and all of her memories

who seen it all and holds the blood and tears

the freedoms and fears
she grows tired of the anguish and tension
and now like in the ancient days

when we have to be silent
by forgetfulness or by force

the stones cry out
and the foundations shake

and she calls out for her lover
for the bride who is ready but choked in the pain

by the evil, the diseased and the insane
the prideful man of sin gets his day

but we the created calls out for the last play

took a trip across of the land of the free

what we understood

and what we believed

all the veils are uncovered now
and the center is gone
in the crisis of identity

don’t know who we are

or where we stand

unless someone gives a title
makes that plaque

so alive in the last days of the land of the free

if you don’t understand
or it sounds insane
I just want something to remember
help me remember

and thank God for what I never did before

in the days before the fall

when the rocks have to cry out
when the rocks have to cry out.

As he was now drawing near, at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen, saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” And some of the Pharisees in the multitude said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.” (Luke 19:37-40 )

When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who hold its pillars firm.”  Psalm 75:3

The Closing In

I looked to north
I saw the new blood cold
I looked to the east
With it’s sabers
And agitated heat
I looked to south
Where the new red army
Has been hiding out
I hear in the west
Drought and radiation
Is gonna get the rest
The closing in is closing
Don’t you hear the murmur
Damn the fiddlers
Damn the agitated furor
Gut you on the inside
Let the outside take the shells
And the politically correct
With their censored lives
Distracting causes
And robbing the blind
I looked to the ground
Where the stones have been crying out
And I looked to the sky
And the hills
Where my help resides
They can call for the purge
And they can make me enemy
It really doesn’t matter
I know where I find peace
And if you can see me
See me as I am
I’ll tell you some things
Cause it’s not like it was used
Appropriated and abused
It’s not like it was propagated
But the propagated was prophesied
And here are the people
The body and the life
And the closing in is closing in
And we watch and pray
Pray and watch
We are not afraid
We are not blind

Let there be light

Image

And let there be light

and there was

and let there be life
and so it was
and so it was
and so it is
in the zombie land

of isms and schemes
the few and the humble
between the in betweens
let there be light

let there be light
beyond the past faults
and beyond the future fears

let there be light

beyond oppression and it’s screens

let there be life

beyond the riots and the screams
let there be light

as Paul and Silas

in their prison prayed

as it was before

and so it is today

let there be light

let there be light

as Paul and Silas

as they sang

and there was life

in the darkest of darkness

the light does shine brighter

so remember in the midnight hour

and let there be life
and let there be light

let there be light….
